US$150,000 prizes in REVV and YGG tokens for over 1,000 winners!
The REVV Racing TOWER Cup is shortly coming to an end, but this time we will not slow down in between! REVV Motorsport brings you an exciting new REVV Racing tournament: the YGG Cup, starting at 8 a.m. (UTC) on 10 September 2021!
Introducing the REVV Racing YGG Cup
The YGG Cup is a 6-day tournament in which you use Tries to enter a race consisting of 3 laps. This is a time-attack-style tournament, where the standings on the leaderboard are determined by your fastest total race time. The event is conducted similarly to the Tower Cup, Alpha Inaugural, and Sprint Sessions, so if you have played those you are already familiar with the basics.
To compete in the YGG Cup, you need a REVV Racing car NFT, which can be purchased on OpenSea. Please note that the YGG Cup is only accessible by the cars which are available by the beginning of the tournament; any new cars minted during the tournament will not be supported in this event.
If you have already used up all your 20 free Tries, each additional Try costs 5 REVV. REVV Racing is on the Polygon blockchain, so you will need to use REVV that has been bridged to Polygon. You can either bridge your REVV from Etherium here or get REVV directly from different Quickswap pools on Polygon:
REVV Racing car holders will automatically receive a small amount of Polygon tokens (if they don’t have any in the wallet) when they connect their wallet to the REVV Racing website for the first time; these tokens are to cover transaction fees. The only requirement to receive the free Polygon tokens is that your wallet must contain a REVV Racing car NFT. If you obtain a car NFT after you have already connected your wallet to the REVV Racing website, you must log out and reconnect your wallet in order to receive the Polygon tokens.
REVV Racing YGG Cup Prizes
The prize pool for the REVV Racing YGG Cup for the top 1,000 players consists of US$150,000 worth of YGG and REVV. Token prizes are distributed as follows with ⅓ payable in YGG and ⅔ payable in REVV:
In addition, the top 3 players will also receive a REVV Motorsport NFT Trophy!
To help prevent malicious actors and ensure that active players are being rewarded for their play, the top 20 players will need to pass a KYC process (which can be found in the bottom of the REVV Racing website) before receiving rewards. One player can qualify for one position in this event. REVV Racing reserves the right to disqualify any players in races where foul play is suspected. If a player is disqualified, the succeeding racers will move up on the leaderboard.
To qualify for a prize in the YGG Cup, you will need to hold in your wallet your car NFT that you used to achieve your leaderboard standing. This NFT must be held until the final winners list has been confirmed. This means that if a winning player transfers the car they used to achieve the winning time to another wallet before the final winners list is confirmed, they will forfeit their position.
Earn a YGG REVV Aspire
To coincide with the announcement of the YGG Cup, we are also announcing the second car to the REVV Racing car NFT range: the REVV Aspire.
We will be rewarding YGG Cup players with an exclusive REVV Aspire, with a YGG themed livery to participants. To earn this car, you just need to play the YGG Cup once per day* during all six days of the event. Days for the event will be counted as following:
- 08:00am UTC 10.09 - 07:59:59 am UTC 11.09
- 08:00am UTC 11.09 – 07:59:59 am UTC 12.09
- 08:00am UTC 12.09 – 07:59:59 am UTC 13.09
- 08:00am UTC 13.09 – 07:59:59 am UTC 14.09
- 08:00am UTC 14.09 – 07:59:59 am UTC 15.09
- 08:00am UTC 15.09 – 08:00am UTC 16.09
*For those who are using Hire a Driver function - Please note that race date will be based on link creation time, as long as racing itself happens during the tournament. So to race on each day, link needs to be created on each day.

Hire a Driver (v0.1)
The ‘Hire Driver’ feature allows players who own cars to share their Tries and cars with anyone else. This feature allows car owners to “rent” out their cars to other drivers, and still enjoy the benefits of Play-to-Earn without the need to race themselves — a great way to stimulate collaboration between more commercially minded players and those with the racing skills needed to win.
Please note that this feature is a very early version, and offers no assurances of cooperation between players. Any arrangements players make involving this system is purely at their own risk and neither Animoca Brands nor REVV Racing can be held responsible for any problems or disputes arising from this system.
Alpha Status
This release of REVV Racing is alpha, meaning that it is an early version of a game that is still being developed and tested. Outside of content and features, numerous updates, improvements and additions are in the pipeline for the current experience. This is an early development build which will be undergoing optimisation, bugs fixes, and balance. Anyone participating in the game should be aware that issues and bugs will be present. We’re open to your feedback, and hope you enjoy this first taste of REVV Racing.
