Greetings to all the MotoGP™ enthusiasts, collectors and racers out there! We hope that everyone has been having fun opening their packs and finding out what hidden treasures lay within! It’s time for some very exciting news for those who bought packs in our first two sales, read on to find out what’s next!
Surprise gift to all the pack buyers
As a special thank you for your support and participation, we will be giving out a REVV Racing car NFT to everyone who bought a MotoGP™ Ignition card pack in the first two sales. This racing NFT will not only give you a direct access to playing the new REVV Motorsport original title REVV Racing, but an opportunity to win big in our debut REVV Racing tournament: Alpha Inaugural
The Alpha Inaugural Tournament will feature a pool of REVV worth US$150,000! This pool will be distributed to a total of 1,000 participants. After the tournament this NFT will also be yours to keep. As always, since these are NFTs you will also be able to trade them if you wish to do so.
These special car NFTs will have a “Ignition” tag as well as unique MotoGP™ Ignition inspired livery. Your “Ignition” tag will also be customised based on the packs that you bought, for Series 1, it’ll be “Ignition 1”, Series 2, “Ignition 2”. If you bought packs during both sales, that’s two cars, each with a tag related to the sale.
This specific NFT is only available to the pack buyers!
How to get your NFT
REVV Racing will be on Polygon blockchain, different to MotoGP™ Ignition which is on Flow blockchain. Because of this you will need a wallet that supports Polygon, such as MetaMask.
How to Set up a MetaMask Wallet:
Step 1: Installation
- Head to https://metamask.io/ (on Google Chrome)
- Click “Download” and then “Install Metamask to Chrome”
- Click “Add to Chrome”
- Click “Add Extension” to complete the installation
* The fox should now be in the upper right hand corner of the browser
Step 2: Setup
- Click “Create a Wallet”
- Agree to T’s & C’s
- Enter a password and click “Create”
IMPORTANT: you will now see the 12 words that make up your backup “secret phrase”
- DO NOT LOSE THIS OR GIVE THIS TO ANYONE… EVER
- Write it down and store it somewhere SAFE
- DO NOT STORE IT AS A PHOTO ON YOUR PHONE
Confirm and save your secret phrase, now your wallet should be set up
Step 3: Using MetaMask with REVV Racing
REVV Racing is built on the Polygon blockchain, so you will need to change your MetaMask network over from Ethereum to Polygon (Matic) when playing. To do so, you need to instal the needed chain first. You can do this by following these steps:
- Click on the MetaMask logo in the browser
- Click on “Ethereum Mainnet”
- Click on “Custom PRC” and fill in the following:
- Network Name: Matic Mainnet
- New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.maticvigil.com/
- Chain ID: 137
- Currency Symbol (optional): MATIC
- Block Explorer URL (optional): https://explorer.matic.network/
Step 4: Let us know your wallet address
- Head to the form HERE
- Enter your MotoGP Ignition wallet address and email
- Enter your new MetaMask wallet address (you can find this in the browser extension you just installed)
- You are all set!
You will have until 29.07.2021, 00:00 UTC to provide your Polygon address via the form mentioned above. Please note that if you have not provided your Polygon address by then, you will not be able to receive this NFT.
